The Yellowjackets varsity girls volleyball team faced a narrow defeat against the Vikings, concluding with a final score of 2-3.

According to the match details, the tournament took place on October 22 at Teays Valley High School. The competition was intense from the beginning, with Teays Valley securing the first set 28-26. The Vikings maintained their momentum and won the second set as well. However, the Yellowjackets mounted a comeback, winning the next two sets with scores of 25-20 and 25-16.

With this visit to Teays Valley, Mount Vernon’s season concludes with a record of 7-15.
